RAYMOND R. JEFFREY, 88, of Huntington, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2002, at Morris Memorial Nursing Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel by the Rev. Michael Rowe. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was born Sept. 22, 1913, in Barboursville, a son of the late Millard and Eula Dillon Jeffrey. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Charlie, Leo and Roy Jeffrey. He was a retired employee of H.K. Porter and was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II. He is survived by his wife, Sadie Caldwell Jeffrey; one stepdaughter, Esther Lee Hensley of Huntington; one sister, Evelyn Eden of Barboursville; five brothers, Vivian, Tom, Paul, Stacey and Jack Jeffrey, all of Barboursville; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
